Members of the Freshman Board recently discovered a helpless, but sweet, bear looking for a new home. They have decided to make it their mission to find an adoptive family who doesn't mind that he's a bit bigger than most of his friends. He's not ashamed of it.
Maroon would make a wonderful addition to any family and would make anyone who is hyperactive just plain fall over the edge. He's housebroken, cuddly, and may cause your stomach to ache a little because he's just so sweet.
So what is he...
He's a 5 pound gummy bear and he's delicious. The Freshman Board is raffling (putting him up for adoption) beginning on Monday in the cafeteria. Adoption papers (tickets) will be available for 50 cents apiece or 3 for a dollar. All proceeds go to the Freshman Board. He will be handed over to the lucky family next Friday.
Maroon is currently on display in the Activities Office. His picture is attached.
The Freshman Board has a few recommendations:
1. You could give him to your annoying little cousin just before you leave his/her house.
2. You could completely forget that silly diet that you're on...and start by knibbling on his ear.
3. You DO NOT use utensils.
4. Please keep him out of warm places like the trunk of your car or a warm gym locker...he doesn't like that...and you probably won't like it either.
5. Illness resulting from the "adoption" of Maroon is clearly because you lack self-control.

Maroon and White DanceOn Friday, November 19th the Freshman Board will be sponsoring the Maroon and White dance in the school's cafeteria. Admission is $1. Refeshments will be served for no additional cost.
